It doesn't seem possible to programme this radio using software such as Chirp. Is that correct? Is the only way to change the setting by updating them manual through the keypad?
I dunno about that, also not sure what benifit there is to program it then using standard one swith CTSS and such.
@@chungdha The benefit is that I have 6 of them to sync up to each other and it would be much easier to setup one, download and upload to the others. That's what I do with the 888s.
doesn't look right at all... blur with a fixed value and less saturation is not the same as 'less blur'... was looking for a way to reproduce what the tilshift effect of photoshop does as it takes forever to render for a video
There is nothing about saturation in this video so dunno what you are on about, also you can animate the masking box if you want to. Also this is basically same way to do tiltshift as in Photoshop.

@@chungdha so to clarify: you are blurring the whole image with a fixed value then apply basically a gradient as a mask. The result is, as you can clearly see in the transition area, a sharp layer poking through a blurry layer. The tilt shift blur in photoshop is blurring with a changing value so you get a natural sharpness falloff just like in a real tilt shift lens.

Ive got F22 after having Motorola T42. What can I say.. This small Motorola is much much better! The price is just above baofeng but still chap. Mototola has smaller more compact size. More clear voice. More readible voice. In general when baofeng is starting to loose contact Motorola is still good. Comparing this to USB-C, torchlight, ctss.. ok.. nothing like this in mototola but thunking about communucation there is no doubts..
You want CTSS when using on film set, as picking up signal from other users nearby suddenly can ruin a possible good take.

I have experienced some interference noise between rodr transmiter and tascam recorder. I even bought rode cable to avoid any issues. Thats so bad for now :/
are you using clip mic or you using mic of the recorder as the mic on the recorder is not well shielded and need to use lavalier clip mic on the recorder

The only problem I see is that the 'actor' is obviously wearing this large bulky black vest, thus one cannot have any other 'actor' outfit using this set up. I was going to try something similar with a petite actress until I realized that she has to wear the rig first and that the rig would be in all the shots.
Would like to demo the setup with a 360 camera like the X4 with 4K resolution, have you thought of this? I have a body mount for the 360 camera so it would leave both hands free and easy whip/pan in post.
Insta 360 footage will aways look very insta360 and also lack of DOF just not footage can easily edit into a normal movie or commercial.

I think I would try an action cam to cut down on the size and weight and also utilise the wide angle lens, but I'll think about it
Actually needs the weight for this setup and is not too heavy with a mirrorless and already using 18mm which is very wide, but also with action camera often cannot focus well close up and filming snorricam close up person be out of focus.
